How to type Portuguese
This is the Brazilian ABNT layout. ç has its own key (;); the other accents are dead keys: press the accent, then the vowel.
~ is on ': ~ then a gives ã, ~ then o gives õ. ´ is on [: ´ then e gives é. ^ is Shift + ' and ` is Shift + [, so ` then a gives à.
Brazilian keyboards have two extra keys for / and ?. On a keyboard without them, use AltGr + Q and AltGr + W.
Portugal uses its own layout, in the Layout menu as Portuguese.
